Education System in Canada

 Primary level
  For kindergarten is all the same but for primary school will be depending upon each precinct according to the following:
     1. Year 1 – 8; Ontario and Manitoba
     2. Year 1 – 7; British Columbia and Yukon
     3. Year 1 – 6; Every precinct except for the mentioned above

Secondary level
    It is as normal; a 12 year’s study followed by another 4 years at the undergraduate level, except for Quebec and Ontario. In Quebec and Ontario they have to study 13 years followed by a 3 years at the undergraduate level. 
    Most government schools are co-ed, however, for private schools there is a mixture of all girls, all boys and co-ed, some have boarding. 
    The education system in Quebec is the same as in France; students study for 11 years and continue 2 years at a vocational level.

University level
    Universities will allow students to choose to have an examination in both either English or French language. 3-5 years is usually required at the undergraduate level, this of-course depends on the precinct. Some courses requires more time than others like; accounting, architect and engineering as they input internship as one of the course program. 
    Postgraduate level takes 1-2 years, students can chose to do course work, lectures and writing essays or project work, write up dissertations and take a comprehensive examination.
Doctoral level takes 3-5 years, 2 years course work and the rest will be research, academic presentation and writing up a dissertation.

 Vocational study
           Community College or Career College takes 3 years to complete, this will emphasize on producing quality workers into the market. The course outline will adapt according to the country’s economic policy and the labor demand. 

 Technical study
           Co-op education is the cooperation between the institute and companies, giving opportunities for students to work in their field of study. Students will take internship in the last 2 semesters, payment included. 

Language School
          There is an English School called English as a Second Language (ESL) and a France Language School (FSL), spread all over the country.
